Drug Interactions Checker

Drug Interaction refers to the interaction between drugs and other substances that cause reactions when taken together. This interaction may cause either synergistic effect (the effect of two drugs taken together is greater than the sum of their separate effect at the same doses) or antagonistic effect (the effect of two drugs is actually less than the sum of the effect of the two drugs taken independently of each other) or may also produce different reactions from the use of such drugs. Synergistic effect can cause overdose or increase the risk of side effect. Meanwhile, antagonistic effect can cause underdose or the drug become less effective.
